How to Make a Donation

Donations to Nagoya University Foundation can be made online with a credit card.

Procedure


1) Fill out the Web application form.
2) Confirm the information you have entered, then click the "Input confirmation" button.
3) That completes the procedure. (A completion notice will be sent to your e-mail address.)
4) We will forward you a transaction receipt.

Types of Credit Cards That Can Be Used

Settlement Procedure

The donation acceptance and settlement procedure is complete once you have received our completion notice by e-mail.
As with any ordinary credit card transaction, your donation will be withdrawn from the bank account designated by provisions in your agreement with your credit card issuer.
The withdrawal date will occur within one or two months following the month in which you submitted your donation. This varies by credit card issuer.
Please check the balance statements you receive from your card issuer.

Issuing Donation Receipts


The transaction receipt for your donation will be issued on the date your donation is remitted to Nagoya University by your card issuer.
Note that it normally takes from two weeks to a month from the date of application submission to issuance of the transaction receipt.

If you use...

    Visa or MasterCard on or after December 16,
    JCB, American Express, or Diners on or after December 1,

...the donation receipt will be issued on the date in the following year, which means that the donation amount will be carried forward to the following tax year for deduction under the Japanese tax system.
